SANDPIPER'S NEST
is a private home situated on 90 feet of prime oceanfront
property. The lot itself is 25 feet above sea level,
so the ocean is visible from inside the house. Because
the house is built on a concrete foundation instead
of pilings, there are no stairs to climb. An enclosed,
double garage adds to the convenience (and helps keep
the salt spray off cars!).
Eight people (plus a baby in crib) can be accommodated
in this beaturiful oceanfrnot home, and we limit our rentals to that number.
The master bedroom is 14' X 18' and contains a king-sized
bed, a daybed, computer with high speed Internet, TV with VCR and DVD,
and a private bath with a large soaking tub.The master suite is located on the ocean side of the
house and has doors that open onto the rear
deck.
The "junior master" suite is 13' X
14'. It is located on the front of the house; it is
a cozy room with vaulted wood ceilings, a queen-sized
bed, and television/VCR. This suite also has a private
bath.
The third bedroom is a child's delight! It contains
a bunk bed plus a trundle, so it easily sleeps three...
and the bunks have regular twin mattresses, which
are as comfortable for adults as they are for children.
The bunk room is decorated to please kids and contains
a child sized television and VCR, as well as games
and puzzles to keep little ones occupied on rainy
days. A third bath is located in the hall just outside
this bedroom.
A complete supply of bed and bath linens
is provided. The house contains a stack washer-dryer
inside the house and an additional set in the garage. |
The living-dining room is spacious and is decorated
with very attractive and comfortable furniture and accessories.
The dining table easily seats six and two bar chairs
provide additional seating at the long kitchen counter.
A lovely old pine armoire holds a color
television with cable, VCR/ DVD, a Bose CD player, and
books, magazines, and games for your enjoyment. The
large room is light and bright, and open to the rear
deck and ocean views through two sets of sliding doors and two large
picture windows. Plantation shutters, wood ceilings,
and practical faux wood floors contribute to the Key West
cottage ambiance.
The kitchen is completely open to the living-dining room and views of the beautiful Atlantic ocean beyond. With granite counters, the kitchen is
equipped with a side-by-side refrigerator with ice
and water on the door, garbage disposal, dishwasher,
ice maker, smooth-top range, and microwave. You will
also find a blender,
mixer, toaster, toaster-oven, and drip coffee pot.
Of course, there is a complete supply of dishes, flatware,
storage containers, casserole dishes, and cooking
utensils.
We know you will enjoy the huge rear deck and walkway
to the beach. A built-in bench on the walkway is a
wonderful spot for early morning coffee or watching the sun rise over the ocean. The deck
runs the entire length of the house, and the
middle section is approximately 16' X 20', providing
a spacious area for eating and relaxing. We provide
a dining table and many chairs, as
well several comfortable loungers. In the garage are a gas grill and an assortment of beach chairs,
umbrellas, and beach toys.
